Our four speaker/panelists are Barry Fischman, CPA - Michael D'Addio, JD - Edward Pratesi, ASA, CM & AA, CVA and John Salemi CPA MST.

Barry A. Fischman is a Partner with MARCUM Accountants in New Haven, Connecticut office and a member of its National Construction, Real Estate, Business Enterprise Tax Services,High-Net-Worth Individuals, Tax Compliance, Family Wealth Services,and Trusts and Estates practice groups. He has more than 30 years of tax and consulting experience providing services primarily to closely-held businesses.

Michael F. D’Addio is a Principal at MARCUM Accountants in New Haven, Connecticut office. He has more than 35 years as a specialist in compliance and planning in a variety of areas concerning federal and state taxation. He has a wide range of industry experience including construction, real estate, research and development,professional services, and manufacturing.

Edward Pratesi is the Managing Director of UHY Advisors N.E., LLC and the previous Managing Director of Brentmore Valuation Advisors LLC, a Business Valuation, Transaction Advisory Services, and Strategy Consulting firm. Partner in Pratesi, Salemi & Company, LLC, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors. Nearly forty years in practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in the State of Connecticut. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers, credentialed as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA.

John Salemi is the Managing Director of UHY Advisors N.E., LLC and previous Principal in the firm Pratesi, Salemi & Company, LLC, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants.   Mr. Salemi is the Firm's accounting and tax partner and a member of the management consulting division.Mr. Salemi’s areas of specialization are tax issues and management consulting.  He concentrates on tax minimization strategies and tax compliance, and custom management financial reporting for privately held businesses.
