Our speaker: ROSEMARY E. GIULIANO ESQ. of Giuliano Richardson & Sfara LLC
Atty. Giuliano will discuss how accountants, financial planners and estate planning attorneys assist lawyers and clients in a myriad of ways throughout the pendency of the divorce case and after its conclusion. Their expertise is invaluable with respect to all of the following:
- Preparation of client’s Financial Affidavit
- Discovery – reviewing trust agreements; conducting business appraisals
- Assisting in the creation of settlement proposals by projecting income
- Post-divorce estate planning
Rosemary E. Giuliano is a principal in the Connecticut law firm of Giuliano Richardson & Sfara LLC. She has been continuously engaged in the private practice of law since 1979. Her practice emphasis is matrimonial law. She is a graduate of Smith College and the University of Connecticut School of Law. She has earned professional and public recognition for professional achievement and distinguished service to her community and her profession.
Attorney Giuliano has been a leader in state, regional, and national bar associations. She served on the ABA Board of Governors (2005 – 2008), the ABA Executive Committee in the capacity of Chair of the BOG Program, Evaluation and Planning Committee and as the Connecticut State Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates (1996-2005). Previously, she served as President of the New England Bar Association (2003–2004), President of the Connecticut Bar Association (1994–1995) and Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (1984-1985). She has been an active member of numerous committees of the American Bar Association and Connecticut Bar Association. Attorney Giuliano has served on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and as President of the University of Connecticut Law School Foundation Board of Trustees. She is a Sustaining Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation Fellows and former Chair of the Connecticut ABF Fellows. She is also a sustaining Life Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation Fellows and former Vice-Chair. Attorney Giuliano has been a panelist and moderator in numerous Bar Association and Bar Foundation seminars and symposia.
At our annual meeting the Board of Directors will submit to the membership for a vote the attached By-law changes. In addition the Nominating Committee will submit to the membership for a vote the attached 2016-17 Slate of Officers.
